Cryptics
In June 2025, I got into cryptics through finding Minute Cryptic. I decided to try to write some of my own, here's a collection of them:
- remove indiscriminately on a timeline (9)
- destroyed city haphazardly gives away plots of land (5)
- accessor into deep cave (4) (this one isn't great, I need a better word than "accessor")
- it initiates nightmarish evacuation back to the surface (4,2)
- lead ever-active groups to retreat underground (4)
- AI devours our jobs (4)
Admittedly, some of these aren't great, and some of the ideas behind them are quite repetitive, though I think nonstandard for cryptics. I have a few other ideas that I still need to flesh out, hopefully I will post them here soon once I finish.

Tom Swifties
I love how silly these are, and I feel that they're pretty easy to write, so I won't inundate this page with infinite Tom Swifties. I'll only include one which is a pun/double meaning that I'm proud of for the wordplay, yet ashamed at how it suggests that the only people who would make English language mistakes are foreigners/non-native speakers.
- "Judging by the spelling and grammar mistakes, this must have been written by a non-native speaker", he said foren[sic]ally
